When are payments for my session due?
A 50% non-refundable initial payment is due immediately to secure the date of your session; dates are not held without initial payment. The second 50% payment is due the day of, and prior to, the start of your session.
Why is a 50% payment due immediately?
With your first payment, you are purchasing my time and availability. Because time is so much of my product and service, an immediate payment protects your scheduled time with me. In doing so, you are guaranteed your session slot and that I will not offer your session slot to other clients. Your second payment purchases the time and work that goes into delivering images to cherish for a lifetime!
What can I expect during our session?
Candid is the name of the game! My shooting style centers more around movement prompts than posing prompts. I always want you to leave your session feeling relaxed, encouraged, and invigorated! To achieve that, you will rarely (if ever!) be asked to hold still or feel stiff. We will work together to highlight your favorite parts of yourself and your loved ones, and keep your images feeling natural and fun.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
I always want your session to work for you and your timeline. Because I know that life happens, sessions can always be rescheduled for a $75.00 rescheduling fee. Should you need to cancel, no additional fees will be applied. Unfortunately, your 50% initial payment is not refunded in the case of a cancellation so rescheduling is always the recommended option!
How can I use my photos?
I will always outline how you can use your images under your licensing terms in your contract, and I’m always happy to go over what they mean with you! They will include things like if you have license to print your photos, where they can be used online, etc. Licensing terms vary depending on the session, but I do always require that you not filter or re-edit your photos, and that you credit me when sharing them. Many hours go into making sure that your images are as beautiful as they can possibly be and it means the world to me to see how you share them!
Can I order prints of my photos from you?
Of course! Most of my prints are created in house with professional quality tools on an archival photo printer. As they are primarily printed in house, they’re often ready for pick up within 48 hours! Check out all of my print packages here!
